Job Evaluation

Our services include the review and audit of current job evaluation tools and practices as well as developing customized job evaluation tools that balance pay equity compliance with operational effectiveness.


We have developed and implemented JE tools and supporting practices and policies in both unionized and non-unionized organizations.

Pay Equity

We have worked with provincially and federally regulated employers to assess current pay equity compliance and maintenance or to develop the tools and undertake analysis to ensure current compliance.



Job Description Preparation

Both as part of the work of job evaluation/pay equity and as a stand-alone undertaking, we have developed hundreds of job descriptions across a wide range of functions including finance, information technology, communications and marketing, human resources, legal, and core operations.


We have used both customized questionnaires and employee interviews for data collection.

Job and Organization Design

Whether as an outcome of job data collection for job evaluation or as a stand-alone project, we have worked with organizations to undertake redesign at the job, function, and organizational levels.



Classification and Compensation Design

We have developed and implemented a range of classification models that support on-going pay equity compliance while managing costs and supporting career progression.


With a focus on each of pay equity, internal equity, and market competitiveness, we have developed base salary and performance-based pay programs.

Subject Matter Expert

Sandra has served as a subject matter expert providing both written reports and testimony related to job evaluation, pay equity, and compensation.
